Lakeview Cottages
As you enter one of our Lakeview Cottages, you will stop and whisper “wow”. With three master bedrooms, three and a half bathrooms, and over 2050 square feet of luxurious living space, you’ll quickly see why this is the way to experience the lake.
The hallway has slate flooring and has been custom painted and designed to set the mood for the perfect “up north” experience. As you walk down the hall you will pass a half bath with slate flooring and a first floor laundry room which features two natural gas hot water heaters so you will never run out of hot water!
The hallway leads to the kitchen and dining room. The gourmet kitchen features custom hickory cabinetry, birch hardwood flooring, a gas stove, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, separate ice maker and all the dishes and kitchenware to host a great reunion or intimate dinner. The under cabinet lighting, the pot filler above the stove and the custom tiled back splash reminds you that every detail has been attended to.
The dining room seats eight to ten people with four extra seats at the granite counter topped island in the middle of the kitchen. The nine foot ceilings create a grand space that overlooks the reading room and great room.
The centerpiece of the great room is a real cut stone gas fireplace – perfect for snuggling up to on winter evenings. The large flat screen television and DVD player add to the entertainment possibilities and you’ll appreciate the large overstuffed furniture and custom log furniture. The reading room is right off the great room and can either be closed off for privacy or opened up for more gathering space. The reading room features a wicker love seat, chair and ottoman.
The Lakeview Cottages have a queen master bedroom on the first floor and its private bath has a tiled shower and custom log bed. Custom log furniture is also in the two bedrooms on the second floor. One of these bedrooms has a large bunk bed and full private bathroom while the other bedroom has a king size bed with an air spa tub to compliment the tiled shower in the bathroom. These private master bedrooms assure that you will have lots of room to escape and the spacious floorplan means you will have lots of room to gather together too!
Knotty tongue and groove pine is used throughout the cottage. It also has cedar lap siding, asphalt shingles, Marvin windows, and is fully insulated for easy heating and cooling. The cooling and heating system is zoned so each bedroom can control their temperature and also has an air exchanger.
The outside is fully landscaped with a stamped concrete patio, patio furniture and a Weber charcoal grill – perfect for grilling steaks while sharing stories at the lake.
